Once Upon a Time "Your family bookstore"

My girls and I will be making cookies for the upcoming author event with Maggie Stiefvater - the author of bestselling "Shiver" and "Linger".  We will see if we can dream up some interesting recipies for our wolf-themed cookies.  Maggie loves cookie dough -- and we'd love to give her some of our interesting flavored ones, but perhaps that isn't the right kind of swag to give an author?

Jessica treated the family with her own made best pasta dinner - fresh linguine, baked chicken, and a homemade thyme-mint-cream sauce - yummy!
Of course, you don't want to know how many calories the dish was but since it's not made that often, we can treat ourselves.

Jessica is trying to describe a parasite outbreak from her high school biology class - UGH. How groddy, gross, disgusting, etc. but FASCINATING!

I'm currently reading a dark, brooding mystery - CHRISTINE FALLS _ for our mystery book club.

Jessica is enjoying "Slaughterhouse Five".
